China is building one coal-fired power plant every 7 to 10 days. The United States, on the other hand, cannot build new non-CCS coal-fired power plant and is shuttering existing coal fired power plants.
So please explain how China is going to reduce carbon output by an amount equivalent to the entire output of the United States within the next twenty years when we are reducing our output and they are increasing theirs?
