Mess at people try to drag her on the other thread. And now when Apple change their policy and directly said it`s because they read Taylor`s note and concern about it, they try to spin this to a PR stunt.

Big company always have a crisis management team which job is deal with all the unexpected problem ASAP. So it`s normal for Apple to reply this fast to Taylor`s post cause they know it could cause very bad reputation for the company. We live in digital age, and all the big company aware of that, they need to control thing before the bad press gone viral. You see when something bad rumour about the company or even famous celebrities, their PR team always have to response very quickly, even doing a press conference the next day to explain the situation.

So don`t even try to talk about something that you don`t even have any evident. Just keep it in your mind if it made you sleep well at night.

Power? All this did was clock her. She said she wouldn't support them because they wouldn't support the artists and they were just clearing their name after her attempted defamation.

No? They were not going to pay artists during free trial period. Because of her letter and the support it garnered, they reversed their decision and will now pay artists. She was right in her statements and got them to change their policy

If they really weren't going to pay artists during this trial, then that's terrible. I'm glad Taylor and other indie artists were able to change Apple's mind, because that's not okay.

Tried what? I haven't been paying any attention to this Apple Music thing. The tweets made it sound like they were correcting Taylor, not changing their policies to please her. I was mistaken.

When will Spotify?

I find it hard to believe Apple never intended on paying artists during the 3 month free trial. They're a gargantuan company that isn't short of a dollar and is looking to smother the competition. They'll just suck up their losses over the 3 months and earn it all back when they successfully take x% of Spotify's market share and eradicate Tidal once and for all.

This though. Like I find it really hard to believe this is a publicity stunt, but at the same time I find it even harder to believe that they had no intention to pay ANY of the artists for a THREE month trial period. Clearly they knew people would complain

So she'll let Apple Music stream her music and not Spotify, what's the difference?

Mess at pressed saying it s PR, remember when she wrote that wall street journal essay, Spotify answered as well in a matter of days (but negatively). so maybe she doesnt put her music on Spotify just for PR as well ?

And Yes Apple has prolly tons of contracts ready for every policy change, I mean it s Apple and last but not least 1989 is not on Apple Music yet.
