Acclaim doesn't pay the bills

The 90-million debut looks like it will though. Agree though, Pixar is always known for this calibre of high-quality movies that it's really not a surprise. It will probably win an academy award for animated feature. I'll be more impressed with it if it sneaks a BP nod.

And in terms of action movies this year, JW will be the biggest, but Mad Max will ultimately be the one action movie from this year to be showered with awards. I think.

According to various sources Jurassic World will be revised up for Sunday and take the record for the highest second weekend for any film.

Inside Out is doing amazing too though, both critically and commercially. Both movies seem great though so I'm happy

...but Inside Out's massive debut will, though. Not sure what your point is here. If Inside Out bombed that would be one thing, but it's Pixar's second highest debut ever

I understand people pitting their fave popstars against each other but stanning for success of movies is bizarre to me. Why can't y'all just enjoy both movies and celebrate their success? Jurassic World and Inside Out are like comparing a rock artist to a jazz artist. Completely irrelevant to each other.

When I wasn't paying attention, this beat Minions and Furious 7 as the #3 movie in the US this year.
