It's not a thing in here, and my city have like, one of the biggest gay scenes of the world.

It makes sex more enjoyable and you can have sex longer/harder.

Also, we're predisposed to having emotional problems and people look to drugs to remedy this.

I don't really know about outside of the U.S., but it is a huge problem and used to be an even bigger one in the 80s. It helped facilitate the spread of HIV/AIDS. I could only imagine it's a problem for other western European countries too.

Meth isn't even a thing in big party cities. Maybe in like...backwoods Louisiana it is. Meth is so low brow–I don't know a gay who would even dare to do such a gross drug.

I think its part to do with a lot of gays wanted to be ontop of the social food chain, i mean gays (i know its a stereotype but w/e) love being social butterflies, especially in the scene and seen as a cool thing to do..
