I was actually thinking about this the other day.
Centuries from now, Madonna will be remembered. People won't shame her for continuing to perform, sing, dance and create well into her 80s-90s. She'll be revered for it. People are shaming her for being "old" and not throwing in the towel, but she's only adding to her legacy.
When she was in her youth, she fought the social construct that women weren't sexual beings with sexual feelings. Now that she's older, she's fighting the social construct that older women aren't sexual beings with sexual feelings.
She's not only a genius - she is, and always will be, the most revolutionary feminist of all time.
