Been a vegetarian for 15 years by choice (I'm 20).
I don't even try to get my protein in. I just eat whatever the **** I want and I'm the tallest in the family so it's not like it has stunted my growth. But I'm still only 5'8.

My question is, other than tofu, whats a vegan food item that is loaded with protein? Keeping my protein intake high enough has been my biggest challenge so far. I'm thinking of just buying some plant-based protein powder.

Try Gardein and Morningstar Farms meat substitutes. I don't put them in or on anything. I eat them all of their stuff as it is with ranch or whatever sauce I feel like eating their stuff with. It's actually pretty bomb unless you're super grossed out by the idea of eating fake meat.
