It's so sad that racial issues have absolutely devoured media more than anything else in US the past year.
I really thought we were moving forward this century, and prior to all this starting w/ Treyvon Martin you rarely heard about mass race issues here. Now there's literally a new story every week. Like it feels like we're in 1965. I really want us to move forward.
Tragedies take place each and every day, but it's the white vs black ones that make headlines.
It all started with Tumblr. I am convinced that place birthed a new generation of little ***** that love reading these stories.
We'll return in 12 hours and see if the American media and British media reflect the same story. You'll be amazed.
I agree wholeheartedly but that doesn't take away from what happened. I honestly hope this man serves a lifetime or a death penalty. This is horrible. I'm so glad the little one managed to survive cause that was just heartbreaking to read. And of course this was racially motivated. No one goes to church to shoot people randomly. Unless his target was the reverent.
The poor 5 year old. This is just really, really horrible. I'm getting tears just thinking about it all. The poor families losing their loved ones when they were just going to CHURCH. It's just so unfair and so wrong

Emanuel AME is a famous, historic black church, and South Carolina is an important state in the early primary elections for the Presidency. The killer obviously had an agenda. Why else pick such a target? I'd be willing to entertain mental illness if he shot up a random mall or a location that he frequented on a regular basis, but this appears shrewd and calculated. I hope he's taken alive and interrogated before the State kills him.
