Kacey Musgraves on Katy Perry: "She's got major balls!"

Country sensation Kacey Musgraves has revealed that being on tour with Katy Perry has taught her to trust her gut and fight for her beliefs, noting that the 30-year-old pop star has 'balls'.
The 26-year-old Mind Your Own Biscuits singer, who covers the July issue of Redbook, told the magazine that she developed huge respect for Katy when she opened for the Roar singer on her Prismatic World Tour in 2014. Kacey is known for combining a traditional country sound with witty, progressive lyrics, and it was Katy who reminded her to keep on doing her own thing.
'She's almost exactly like you would imagine. I mean, she's got major balls,' she told the magazine. 'You can put this on the record: I've seen Katy Perry's proverbial balls.'
The Follow Your Arrow singer added: 'She's had some doors slammed in her face, and it's cool to see that if you keep doing what you think is good, it will work out.'
Kacey and Katy have been pals for some time. Last year the pair took part in CMT Crossroads - a television show that challenges country artists to explore new musical territory with musicians from other genres – and the duo took turns performing renditions of each other's songs for the televised special event.
Katy has even credited Kacey with helping her cope during her breakup with John Mayer in 2012.
