Madonna is a living legend and a huge part of pop music's history, so she should be undraggable no matter what she does (and in this case, she didn't even do anything bad, she just released a fun little video).

Do you really think she cares if the publicity is positive or negative? Furthermore, the "criticism" isn't new. It's the same reductive "Give up, Madonna" comments from over 20 years ago. Just like Britney Spears gets the same reductive "Will she sing live or lipsync" comments from over 15 years ago. The ironic take away here is that everyone cares even less about the same reductive opinions from bloggers or Twitter users than they do Madonna, at this point.
She knew what she was doing, and knew how the GP would react. She's just taking the piss, having fun, and getting her kii's while bitter twitter stans get so worked up.

Like invest in your work and make sure the final product isn't a mess. She's done hip-hop before, and it came out well. Human Nature comes to mind. Why is she purposely doing the sloppiest version of that sound?
