You think I sat through the Triumphant, Hashtag Beautiful, You're Mine and Art of Letting Go eras with the expectation that Mariah was going to bring in some good receipts with an album release? I still love Mariah and her music, I just didn't have anything to say after being disappointed (personally) with her album, so I left the base. "Infinity" is amazing, though.

It makes sense that they wouldnt understand the importance of Infinity at this point in Mariah's career and life. Truly the definition of a GOAT. No but really I love that song.

Infinity is actually a great song, a grower. The video definitely helped too.

Infinity doesn't sound like something any current radio format would play unfortunately. This type of r&b has been dead and snubbed since the late 2000's. It's a good throwback bop but noone expected it to be a hit, I think.

I hope the lead single of the next album is crossover material
