Hey I would like to do a "THIS WAS HIP HOP 2000-2005" rate Please.
Im gonna use rap singles from artists that were huge in the early millennium from acts like Nelly, Mystical, DMX, Jay Z, Ja Rule, P. Diddy, Eve, Ludacris, T.I, Juelz Santana etc. (Im only using 2-3 singles per artist though and of course its gonna be their pop friendly work). Please give me the OK Ive never done a rate before and I think this might be fun in a cool, nostalgic way.
List of songs and artists in the round-up:
A mixture of one hit wonders to future rap legends debut to the classics.
- unofficial lineup
Juelz Santana - There It Go (The Whistle Song)
Cassidy - I’m A Hustla
J-Kwon - Tipsy
Chingy - Right Thurr
Snoop Dogg - Drop It Like Its Hot
Ludacris - Southern Hospitality / Move Bitch /What’s Your Fantasy
50 Cent - In Da Club / 21 Questions / Candy Shop
Nas - One Mic / I Can
T.I. - Bring Em Out
Clipse - Grindin’
OutKast - So Fresh So Clean/ Roses / Hey Ya!
Ja Rule - Always On Time / Between Me and You / Put It On Me
Terror Squad - Lean Back
Fat Joe - What’s Luv?
Jay Z - Big Pimpin/ Izzo (H.O.V.A)/ 99 Problems
Fabolous - Into You/ Can’t Let You Go
Busta Rhymes - Pass the Courvoisier
Sean Paul - Get Busy/ Gimmie The Light
Eminem - Stan/ The Real Slim Shady/Lose Yourself
Kanye West - All Falls Down/ Jesus Walks/Gold digger
Twista - Slow Jamz/ Overnight Celebrity
Lil’ Kim - How Many Licks?/ The Jumpoff
Eve - Let Me Blow Ya Mind/ Gangsta Lovin’
Missy Elliott - Get Ur Freak On/Work It/Lose Control
D.M.X - Party Up (Up In Here)
Nelly - Ride Wit Me / Dilemma / Hot In Herre

How many songs would you rate, and which specific versions would you use? For instance, Burt had a habit of giving songs to more than one singer at a time (I believe there are multiple songs that Dionne, Dusty, and Aretha all did within a year of each other.)

Let's not forget the original Iggy, Sarai! Ladies was that Bubbling Under JAM that had ATRL knocking back in the day.
We're running out of space on the misc queue, but sure! How long would it take for you to get this going?
And where is Slow Motion? Get Low?

Hello, on March 29th I asked if I could host a discography rate of the Korean girl group T-ARA. Like my original post stated, it'll include around 50 songs. Ace said he could add me to the queue, but I still don't see my name in it
I'm capable of doing rates. Just yesterday, I wrapped up a 50 song rate of another Korean girl group f(x) on the site OneHallyu. It got 40+ participants, 30+ pages, 20.5k+ views and over 600 replies. There's never been a rate held there, but this first one was a resounding success! I took only two months to complete it, from the thread being posted on April 12th and the winner being revealed June 13th. You can find it here:
http://onehallyu.com/topic/160735-ai...cography-rate/
Also, this T-ARA rate will be "co-hosted" by Kyle-x, who will be providing assistance with graphics. He hosted the extremely successful Ultimate Kpop Girl Group Rate, which got 60+ participants and 200+ pages. He successfully concluded his rate in one month. You can find his rate here:
http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=730277
I understand if you're weary to let people start rates and not finish them, especially when one of the same genre we're doing is currently in haitus, but both Kyle and I have demonstrated capability to complete a rate in a timely fashion and have experience with doing them.
Additionally, if you're worried about participation, T-ARA was actually the highest rated group that was included in the Ultimate Kpop Girl Group Rate. I think they have a big current and potential audience here with their fun electro-pop style. I'm sure the casual K-poppers (One of the biggest fanbases on this site!) will participate as well.
(Thank you for reading this essay!)

What about a rate of all the song that hit top 10 on the Hot 100 in a particular year? We can start with 2009.

10 songs per duo, so 40 songs total. The songs in the rate include original versions and covers. Participants will listen to my top ten favorite songs by each duo, and my favorite version of each song.
Ex.
For Bacharach/David:
"Close to You" by Carpenters
"Alfie" by Cilla Black
"I Say a Little Prayer" by Aretha Franklin
"Walk on By" by Dionne Warwick
"The Look of Love" by Dusty Springfield
"One Less Bell to Answer" by The Fifth Dimension
"What the World Needs Now Is Love" by Jacksie DeShannon
"Make It Easy on Yourself" by Jerry Butler
"Always Something There to Remind Me" by Sandie Shaw
"Don't Make Me Over" by Dionne Warwick

Oh lemme give the detail Ace for My plan rate "Grammy Awards Song of the Year 2000-2015" (Or maybe you prefer 2006-2015?)
There are 80 songs in total
I plan to announce 5 songs in a day untul top 50, then 3 songs in a day until top 20, 2 songs in a day until the winner.
i will give 2-3 weeks for voting process to participants
and maybe i'm new in rate things, but i am commit to my most of the thread. you can see me as games host in games section
so don't worry, i will finish my rates just like i finished all of my games. i hope you can approve
thanks Ace

Can I propose a Mariah Carey Hidden Treasures rate for her unreleased/b-side/bonus/features? I know Mariah has had several rates done and she's just had a Discography Rate finish (which was incredible) but I'd really love to see what people think of her unreleased stuff.
I put a list of all her songs not on albums and bonus songs...there was like 50 (not including remixes). None of the songs in the list were in the Discography rate so it's not something she's had done before from what I can see on the list in the OP. I was going to do this unofficially in her base (I was told that's allowed) but when I put it all together I thought to myself, "wait this could slay as an official rate". I have a banner and everything so that shows my passion there and I will not let you down by giving up or whatever. I'll even wait a year if I have to haha.
PS You said you'd be here for the "1994 albums: Age Ain't Nothing But A Number, Brandy, My Life, and CrazySexyCool" rate MP2K suggested. Is that a yes? .
