Just to throw it out there, as far as I can tell, this research was done on severely shaky studies at best. I want the actual receipts, from scientists, with actual degrees in their field; not him plugging his book and perpetuating fear.
For example, the first source sites a literature graduate who
is more focused on pugging her book than facts and the second (an actual scholarly artilce)
captures extinction accurately of 2.7% of species world wide; mass extinction means 75% or more. Plus, it arguably captures the wrong statstic (subspeccies extinction, like natural selection, rather than entire species extinction.)
These articles are never anything more than click-bait. Plus, after a brief skim, he comes off extremely, extremely weird. Some of the **** at the end of the article comes off as super-super-lets-have-a-selective-extinction-of-people-y. Which, if you guys up there want to continue arguing, so be it. Just know that the definitive answer of who gets to live goes in this order - the rich, the educated, trade laborers. Minorities and politics won't even matter at that point.
