She is signed with Jay Z label, so she has Beyoncé approval since the beginning, there's a lot of pics of Bey with Rita in 2009, 2010 that proves this; she was signed to Madonna fashion brand and Rita was one of the few female popstars that was very vocal defending Madonna through all the sexist and ageist ******** that she had to pass through in the last 12 months, and like Madge said, she appreciate that; Prince loves her voice, like he said when he played a snippet of one of their collabs last year, so if he wanted that collab, it's because of her talent.
It's all talent and smart networking. Of course she didn't released anything stateside, but when/if she does, she will work very hard to be sucessful, like she always does, even though ATRL likes to ignore this fact and likes to say that everything that she achieved on her career was through sex.
