The original concepts of her videos always match her songs best though, I'd think her label would know that by now and let her be.

um no. she just had no interest in promoting and wanted the videos to be grittier, scaled back and less cinematic just like album.

It's shame that they don't let her to express herself. She always comes up with brilliant concepts for music videos.

i was actually just rewatching her videography earlier today and it just upsets me how low quality and boring the UV videos are when every one of the BTD/Paradise videos are masterpieces

This tbh, all they can do is complain that UV was so different from that melancholic, pretentious mess that is BTD because they SO want to live inside of that world. UV seems so legit and heartfelt in comparison.

I truly believe in that history, but she truly poured her heart on the álbum and was going through dark times in her personal life, she kinda don't wanna be reminded of it and all the memories of that phase, that's one of the reasons that she didn't care too.

And that also. It was kinda very unfortunate period of her life... She was going through hard breakup.

Oh, and if I remember well, BB was supposed to be a duet with Lou Reed. Apparently he died right as they were set to meet.

West Coast was the only song worthy of being the lead single though

I believe that BB would do wonders on radio.
