I think they had attitude problems with him or wanted him to play gay/bi on the show and he refused. I havent watched the show in awhile tho. It got uninteresting to me. :\

I highly doubt that. There is nothing in the character that suggests that he's gay. Jesus is really the most boring character on the show, so maybe the limited aspects of playing Jesus caused him to leave. I'm really more excited about Marianna and Jonnor.

True. Reports say he's being recast tho, so they do have something planned for the character, why replace Jake? He was obviously not happy about the news.

If they're recasting his character, then clearly Jake has been difficult to work with. No one wants to work with a diva. Good thing though, he was sort of boring anyway aside from being so hot.

Wasn't him crying on twitter for people to request a petition to have him again on the show? Maybe that's the only reason why they are re casting him again, he is really a douche this is not the first time I have heard that he is a diva, someone told that he yelled a woman at the TCA I think because they didn't want to give him something I don't remember...

That is honestly stupid. They should let him stay where he is for the remainder of the show. Like keep having phone conversations and "checking up" on him, but don't show him.

The show has a good season or 2 left with these ratings so it doesn't make sense.
