ATRL Top 40
How does this work?
Quite simple tbh. You pick your favorite mainstream singles released within a certain given time frame, PM them to me and using a point system, the songs will be given points and the song with the highest points will obviously reach the top. The number of songs doesn't necessary have to be 40, it can be shorter, but they must be a multiple of 5 (this makes the point allocation much easier). Keep in mind that the more songs you send in, the more divided the points will be. The less you send in, the less divided the points will be.
Why mainstream?
I've tried this project on another forum and it's a MESS when everyone is sending in these different underground songs, making the list longer than wanted.
So mainstream works out better because then the chances of the song being repeated are higher. And I don't think I really need to elaborate on what counts as mainstream and what doesn't. Future rounds will be more open.
