Coontown is like less than 1% of Reddit. It doesn't even have half as many subscribers as r/tsunderesharks, and that's a subreddit about... well, tsundere sharks.
I mostly use the space, video, nature, wtf, creepy sub-reddits, as well as the front page, and they're pretty innocent tbh. I could spend hours surfing them.
Stop trying to push this "ATRL is a gay white supremacist DYSTOPIA" thing.
Don't worry, boo. ATRL does that on its own just fine without a push.
Some of y'all shouldn't generalize Reddit as a vile place though. There's a lot of subs/communities that are quite friendly and helpful with each other.
