She didn't have to do blackface to help the community. That itself is racist.
She can definitely be viewed as a fool and as a race impostor, but (unless she had a side gig in a minstrel show or some other type of entertainment driven performance) that's not blackface

When you tint/color your skin to portray yourself as black, it is black face.
What's worse is that she legitimately faked hate crimes against herself as a supposed black woman. She said she received hate mail in her post office box, but when the mail was analyzed it didn't have a required time stamp that post office mail receives.
