A Malaysia Airlines flight en route to Kuala Lumpur made an emergency landing in Melbourne after the plane's engine burst into flames after take-off.
Flight MH148 landed back in Melbourne just before 3pm on Friday afternoon after the pilot made an emergency call less than 45 minutes into the flight.
There are reports a fire broke out in one of the engines with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade confirming they had responded to an incident at the airport.
I'm glad no one was lost this time, and like someone above said, I think the previous two incidents are a little too strange and coincidental to be the fault of the airline.
