I think it's because the beach is such an integral part of our culture. If you spend half your year basically naked in front of all your friends, then you're going to want to have a good body.
I'm pretty sure we recently overtook the U.S. as the fattest country in the world though, so if you're right on the coast, you're hot. If you're inland, you're probs feral and obese.

I think a lot of people from other nations forget that most of us live on the coast nobody wants to move from here.
Literally all Australians look the same to me . All guys are blue-eyed blonde/dirty blondes, some members post their pics and I already know they are before I even see their location.
And then Australian/NZ women have a similar look too. It's something in their mouth, they tend to have fuller lips than white Europeans. And their over all mouth shape is so odd, not in a bad way but in a way that can't be explained. Kylie (the singer) and Natasha both have a certain kinda smile. I'm very good at detecting Australians/NZ
