Christian couple will divorce if 'gay marriage' is legalized

An Australian couple have vowed to get a divorce, ending their "sacred" ten year union, if the state allows same-sex couples to legally marry.
The Christian couple have been happily married for over a decade, have no intention of separating and hope to have more children. For all intents and purposes they have a healthy marriage.
But Nick Jensen and his wife Sarah believe widening the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples threatens the sacred nature of the union and leaves the door open to polygamy.
"And so, if later on in the year the state does go ahead and changes the definition of marriage and changes the terms of that contract then we can no longer partake in that new definition unfortunately," he said. "When it becomes detached to the child's right to a mother and a father and the sacred institution that it is, then suddenly it becomes meaningless and those boundaries can't be put back in place."
So they honestly think ppl are going to go....Oh no no can't let gay ppl get married, Nick and Sarah will divorce if we do, how will we ever survive that???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They can divorce if they want, but it's a bit pointless.
And there's nothing wrong with polygamy, if all the people in the marriage agree to it, and if nobody is getting abused. People can be in love with more than one person, it happens all the time.
There is literally a show on Australian TV where they marry two heterosexuals who literally meet minutes beforehand and they're complaining about "threatening the sacred nature of marriage". Mmhmm.
