Dark Horse's release was super messy cause Katy was so in love with Unconditionally. It really hurt the album. PRISM could've easily done a million in the UK with a proper single release schedule (Roar --> Dark Horse --> This Is How We Do --> Legendary Lovers). Mismanagement is why it ended up only doing BEYONCÉ numbers.
Frankly, I'm still shocked at how wildly successful "Dark Horse" was. I don't see the appeal in that record. It isn't even interesting on a production level. I wonder what everyone sees in it. At least it literally crushed Gaga for good, though.
