What's up with everyone trying to drag Rihanna's vocal prowess lately. She's much better technically than she's ever been in her career at this point. Her LTWYL performances are proof that she can transition from chest to head tone in seconds without fatigue, or hesitation. Her chest voice shows less nasality and better placement. Her head voice may be weaker but she can hit 6th octave notes now which she couldn't even do until Unapologetic it seems. And her lower register is still where she shines. I hear improvement in her breathing on live performances and she actually has more stage presence as s performer.
The only issue is that she can still be a lazy heaux at times but she's come miles. I'm NAWT understanding

There are so many reasons for this. People just want to bring her down because she's having an "alternative" era.

I think her team expected the song to be much bigger than it was. Hence why they just added it to pop radio & are probably waiting for it to catch on more before they release the video
When we all know the song has the potential to be a mega hit with the video alone. If it's good enough, which I'm sure it's flawless.

Pressed people tend to live in the past. Like yesterday I had a little fight with a memeber on a different forum about having control over her career, and the only argument he could bring is writing your songs=having control over your career.
Why are the mods so sensitive? I was literally just trying to compare R8 to Artpop as half of this website are doing. And said that it was an unfair comparison due to the number of albums from both artists. And it was such a Small part of my thread. Like, whatever
