I just want to know if anyone has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or whether they think they have it, I'm going to my GP on Thursday and I will ask him if he could refer me to a psychologist who would hopefully diagnose me, I have had so many years of being lonely and being very frigging awkward around people, even trying to say hello to somebody frightens me as I can hardly speak, I hate social events and socialising with people, ugh I hate it. I also have motor coordination difficulties such as using my fingers to do up buttons or cycling a bike, which I still can't do even with the stabilisers off, I feel like a child that no one understands, even though I'm 20 years of age.
Aspergers Syndrome is a high-functioning form of Autism. That means that each person with it, including myself since I was born with it, has the ability to function like everyone else.
