I said I never saw a bad live vocal performance. Give me receipts of her going flat.
That's literally all she's doing, and she's not even doing them that well. Not singing correctly or very powerfully. What?
She's not a karaoke singer. I'm just saying, there are a jillion girls in my choirs and my high school who are just as good if not better than her. She's not bad, but she's not SPECIAL. She is good though!
She's a pop singer . Her rivals are Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Rihanna. I'm saying that in her field she is very good. As for Tinashe, she isn't very good and depends on back track and pre-recorded vocals. She's also very nasally.
Tinashe sucks imo, she either lip syncs or sound flatter than a wall. I'm just saying, those we;re some good notes. For the way you we're talking about Ari before you'd think she was some karoke singer. Lol at "she's just belting a bunch of high notes". What do you expect her to sing? Low notes? As shown in that video of Beyonce damn near choking on a BB5 Ariana can sing effortless different artists have different range.
I feel you secretly stan for Ari, but you're too afraid to admit it. It's ok, we won't judge you.

1. Did I not just explain that range does not make one a better singer, especially if one's voice is naturally higher than another's?
2. Beyonce sang live plenty of times in 2011 and I...I don't know what else to say.
3. Toni is not the greatest vocalist in the world either (not saying she's bad at all. GREAT singer, but not brilliant) She's not even ****ing with Mariah or Whitney...at all. Tamar's a good singer because she's related to another singer? Que performances? I didn't see them - and I don't want to.
I didn't say Tamar wasn't creative, I said Beyonce was - and she is. "raga scale" "minors" hmm sounds like kewl riffs and runs which are nearly synonymous to "trills". Beyonce's singing was never shouty. Powerful? Yes. Some growling on in there? Yes, but that's a stylistic choice. Oh and Beyonce her dynamic game (and agility game too):
1. Nonsense. When Tamar can hit higher notes while Bey is struggling you scream "they have different timbres!!" but you mocked Tamar's lower register for being "airy". Which is ironic, seeing as Beyonce is singing Halo, her "sound" is just as hollow!
2. Pregnancy affects everyone differently. And yes she also lipped in 2011 too!
3. That video was so dry, I kinda cringed. How do ya'll sit through her feeling her puss like this? The melismas are always the same! Its ok to have a signature, every good singer has one. But after all these years she still can't think up something different? And trill is like the most basic kind of melisma you can get (on its own)!
I mean don't get me wrong, she is a very good technical singer, and easily the best out of pop girls. But put her up against real RnB/Gospel singers and she's basic.
And on top of that, she stays doctoring her live vocals. I actually wonder what her bare chest voice sounds like. It's a mystery. I mean just watch the last 60 seconds of this video.. Why is her reverb so strong?! Why is it that in her Tidal exclusive "Die With You" the mic is a big as her head? For what. She's got you fooled. You think that her vocals are cohesive and "untouchable" but in reality she uses effects to compensate her lackluster headvoice.

Yep, I do hear a slight nasality about her voice when she ascends higher.... ...or when she's trying to serve cuteness. That's just another result of improper placement though. She was much better on Jimmy Kimmel Live I remember.
Another good voice that needs more training. I'd say she's on the same level as Ariana vocally. In fact, their voice are probably exactly the same Tinashe does not frequently showcase those "exciting" high notes but lol they're definitely there. Ariana is being marketed as a vocal prodigy a la Mariah whereas Tinashe is going for more of a dancer-performer image like Janet's. They're both good singers, but neither is exceptional - they haven't learned how to be yet
Some parts we're blatantly recorded, especially the bridge and the One by one, I watch them fall down... parts. Still, even her edited studio "live" vocals are coming straight from the nose.

Jimmy Kimmel was lip synced. She lip syncs a ton. Her performance on GMA was good but I'm not sold on her. I don't think she's very good and I think she's being marketed as a dancer because her team wouldn't dare market her as "vocal prodigy" since her singing is average.
Good singing is not about hitting high notes. Being able to sing a higher note than someone else in whatever context does not make you a better vocalist. In the case of Tamar vs. Beyonce, Tamar is a soprano (HIGH voice) and Beyonce is a mezzo (LOWER,/MIDDLE voice). If you're going to play that game, then we might as well talk about Tamar's oxygen-ass low notes - no shade! Her kind of voice shouldn't be expected to have the most solid lower range.
Everything about Beyonce's singing, her breathing, her belting and projection/placement, her tone production, her mix, her agility, her musicality and creativity with improvisation - A1 steak sauce.
Tamar is a pitchy, airy, shouty, thin, shaky mess live. We know this. I think her voice is beautiful, but her live singing is not untouchable. Beyonce's kinda is - certainly at this point.
