I feel like that may be the case. Right now, a US broadcaster hasn't been released so it just Family Channel is on board. There is a chance Family could loosen up and maybe give Degrassi a slot later in the night and the show to go back to Season 2/3 styling but with more morals at the end of the episode.

This is all really interesting though. This show is a bit too edgy for TV, Netflix should have taken sole control so the show could actually grow back to real teen topics being handled outside relationships every episode.

I just wish they'd end the show. I'd be stoked if they just posted the previous seasons though.

You know what I mean. Holly J's seasons were good. Of course nothing else compares to the originals of Emma and Manny.

I only care about the episodes with King Marco....

I hope this is the last we'll see of Drew Torres' annoying ass. The actor who plays him is so terrible I always cringe whenever he's on screen.

But Clare and Allie are not confirmed yet, I guess they'll be leaving the show too. Poor Jenna and Connor, they never got the attention they deserved.

I've grown past Degrassi but it's kind of nice to see it continuing.


It's not for me and you can talk **** about it's quality and all you want but it's one of the few youth programming that actually tackles (although sometimes over dramatic) just about all the lifestyle and adolesence problems without too much cover up for it's intended age group.


I'm 23 and can't stomach the stereotypes and storylines at this point but Degrassi is this generation's version of the After-School special, and even though myself and most of ATRL are outgrowing it, it has it's place on television for new teens coming up.
