That last tweet almost sounds like Simon plans to take 5H away from Epic

Let's be honest, I can completely understand he might found it horrible. Beside 5H nothing good came out of that platform. There probably was a lot of pressure behind the scenes for the producers to find ways to gain "viewers". Which also affected the judges and the rest of the crew and probably contestants. There have been enough low life attempts made for the show to change. Let's not act like The XFactor USA was the most delightful show to be part of. The show was mainly crafted after the 'judges' rather than the actual contestants and I doubt LA Reid was there 100% to raise his own prodile since his work is mainly behind the scenes anyways.

Also even though Epic is a huge mess, Syco has enough flaws itself. I mean Ella Henderson's era started of good but then crumbled down, Little Mix does well but still have not reached their full potential. The only real succesful act there is One Direction which is also slowly closing book and Olly Murs does well and decently WW. And don't forget Leona and Alexandra who have pressured both into things they didn't wanted or just didn't get any support to grow as artists.

Nah, he meant he's got his own back. As in he's defending himself. But what LA said was really unnecessary & disrespectful.

I mean the show was god awful. I feel like Simon should've listen to the fans about the format before getting it running live. The sob stories were needed but they didn't have to be that long for each auditionee. The way you gave the contestants such as Cece Frey some bitchy roles to make the his girls looked good was such a disaster. Instead of the girls getting competition, all they had were unneeded drama. Let's not even forget Melanie from season 1.
