This woman was minding her goddamn business and trying to pick up her daughter from school. An entitled White woman called the police over some nonsense because that's what they always do when things don't go their way. The woman had done nothing wrong. No one was hurt. No damage had been done. The police had no reason to arrest her. Her child was inside waiting.
In addition, she was clearly afraid of the police and didn't know how to respond to the situation. She pulled out her phone to ask someone if she actually needed to give the police her information and the cop responded by saying, "Okay, ma'am, I'll give you two minutes." He didn't. He wrestled her to the ground onto her pregnant belly and unlawfully arrested her.
Why did he do this? That's what nobody can seem to figure out.

And does that make a difference? It shouldn't. If you are not being detained for a crime, I have just as much as a right to ask you for information than any other random officer. Case in point, if you don't know the law, don't speak on it. Hopefully Anvarie has learned her lesson looking like a damn fool.

And? If he's not making an arrest, he is not entitled to have her information. He has the right to ask for it, and she has the right to not answer. Having a badge doesn't give him the authority to get everyone's tea willy nilly.

There doesn't have to be 2 sides because there was no evidence that a crime was ever committed. He did not need her name to investigate. All he had to see was that there was no damages done to either of their cars, the white woman was not assaulted, there was nothing to left to investigate and he said with his own mouth "I don't think a crime was committed here".
I do have to say though, things like this can be avoided if people just comply with an officer if they aren't making outrageous demands, like to see an ID.
If she had given him her information he could've falsely wrote her up for something. It happens frequently.
Black people have every right not to trust pigs with badges.

Even if she had given him her ID (despite the fact that she was well within her right NOT to), that doesn't erase the possibility that she will be subject to an unlawful arrest or falsely accused.
No, the best way to avoid these situations is by simply not being Black
Black women still being demonised even in the face of damning evidence. "Oh she must have done something wrong!"
