Just come with radio appealing songs that aren't terrible. Pretty Girls is an example of a terrible song with no radio appeal because it's Fancy 3.0. Had she came with something correct and new, and a decent hit would've been salvageable.

But it's quite easier for men to get hits in their 30's tho. Pink is just a non-factor for GP (and a man too), they only care about her pop-punk sh!t that gets played on the radio. And Beyst is just a huge celebrity with an impeccable reputation and talent

The old school gerls had SO many pointless album releases
It would've been like
"Beyonce Sings The Classics"
"Beyonce Sings and Swings with Nelson Riddle"
"Fly Bey To The Moon"
"Beyonce 'Round Midnight"
"Beyonce and Strings"
"Beyonce Sings Gershwin"

@ all these excuses for every single artist.
P!nk has had Glitter in the Air, Raise Your Glass, ****in' Perfect, Blow Me, Try, and Just Give Me a Reason become hits in her 30's.
Usher has had There Goes My Baby, OMG, DJ Got Us Fallin', More, Hey Daddy, Climax, Scream, I Don't Mind, Lemme See, and Without You become hits in his 30's.
Drunk In Love was a Top 10 radio hit, so Beyonce has had a radio hit since she was 30.
Justin had Mirrors, Suit & Tie, and Not a Bad Thing.
Eminem has had about 30 hits since becoming 30 himself.
Britney had Femme Fatale get 3 hits in her 30's.
If you make radio appealing music, radio will eat it in your 30's. You could make a case for 40+, but radios aren't steering away from someone who's 32. When Katy releases her next single, it's guaranteed going Top 10 in worst case.

Maybe someone who isn't so basic and childish would've smashed with them
Fifth Harmony and Demi can't afford Max Martin

And Adam Levine is 36. Look at Maroon 5's list of radio hits in 2010's.
We Belong Together happened at 35. It's never really been a struggle at radio for anyone in their 30's who hasn't completely fell off or released horrible music.
Females do have it a little harder, but there's lots of examples.

No I agree with you, 30 is not necessarily the death knell for artists on radio, just the initial examples were bad.
Also Top 40 radio is the one that is really ageist, where "Drunk in Love" only peaked at #13, but that was because it was too black for Susan and Abigail driving home from arts & crafts.
I feel like when artists hit 30 either the standards become stricter. Also this is today, not 10-15 years ago when Eminem hit 30 years of age.

Ageist radio is more of a UK/US thing tho
Pop radio in mainland Europe plays old hits and artists all the time

Eminem is only 42 though. Meaning during his last era in 2013, he was 39/40, therefore all his hits this decade were basically in his 30's. He just does drugs + has white genes so he looks 47-52.

But Em's recent songs barely get airplay unless they're with Rihanna

Eminem hasn't had a real radio hit without Rihanna since 2005.
Even the 5x Platinum "Not Afraid" only reached #14 on Radio Songs.

Wow@ Mâns delivering the best male pop album in the last, like two years. True, not hard to get that title since that field has been a mess as of lately, and Perfectlysus Damaged coud be 5x worse and still be that, but still, it is an amazing record all around.
I heard Pretty Gurls on radio today.

Not 1,279,515 views on the Alien no autotune video on YouTube. Poor Britney. The GP isn't here for her ****ery going unnoticed.
