Xedretinz Lododnz is a bitch ass so it must be true love. I love the way bitch ass Rider and bitch ass Ares lie. I hate everything about this bitch ass theme. If you can’t tell, I just being a bitch ass by using puns to express this challenge and results. I sent True Love as my first choice (that’s what I get from being the last one to send) and part 2 of Love the Way You Lie as my third choice. Of course, I Hate Everything About You was my second choice and this is how I feel about this love/hate theme.
I was happy about it, but thinking which songs to send was frustrating. I had like multiple songs to think and choice. I had to make sure the relationship is not vague or ambiguous. I had to make sure what does it takes place I had to make sure it’s really a love-hate relationship and got how both sides treat each other. I had to make sure if the relationship is not toxic as in it is really safe to stay or it is meant to be. It’s hard especially I was thinking about abuse relationships and those are tricky to get around the theme. Not to mention, this was a double-elimination round.
I’m very lucky my bitch ass tribe are kick ass. If we would’ve lost, then I would’ve kiss my bitch ass goodbye. It’s funny that in the last round, I was thinking how much a threat I was and in this round, I’m worrying about being a weak ass. How things changed quickly. This is survival of the fittest. At least, I don’t have to be stressing about voting tonight. Too bad for those other bitch ass tribes.
Previously on Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 5), the 21 remaining castaways returned to camp to partake in the next round of competition. Round 3 had the castaways getting sexy with baby-making music being the central theme of the round. Overall, it was a strong round with most castaways receiving high marks from the panel. In the end, Tribe Strujala returned to first place while Tribe Dalgani managed to stay safe in second making Tribe Mawimba the first tribe to experience Tribal Council twice. Meanwhile, in the first Redemption Island Duel, Kleine achieved victory while musicfan09 & Lucky#17 were officially eliminated. At Tribal Council, it was Flame Beat Z000 who became the next member of Redemption Island. What will happen this episode on Survivor: ATRL Edition?
Welcome castaways to Round 4 of Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 5)! Let's head into the next round of the game, shall we?
The theme for Round 4 is...
Coming of Age ~You're gonna have to see through my perspective~
The awkward stage between teenage years and adulthood is one that is often marked with a want and need for new-found independence. This round, your song selection should contain lyrics pertaining to seeking one's freedom and proclaiming one's individuality. In other words, your artist has made it bright and clear they're living their life for themselves now and want others to just let them be. The round focuses on coming of age so songs about forty year old women leaving their cheating husbands to live freely are not a part of this criteria.
What To Do:
Just as in Round 1, PM the artist and title of your song once you decide. If there's a specific version you want listened to, link me to it. There are no explanations as your song is standing on its own.
There are still 21 contestants left in the game still, so a back-up never hurt anyone. To the two on Redemption Island, you will get a PM when it is time to submit a song for this round. Until then, just think about options to send in.
Take Into Consideration:
The panel will judge the audio/lyrics of the track you submit. Music videos will not increase or decrease your score as some music video plots differ from a song's true meaning.
The theme is what is important here. You will not receive a low score because you sent in a song one of the judges does not like. Taste will most likely only be the determinate in whether you receive for example a 8.5 or 9.
The song you choose should display the meaning upfront. An interview with your artist clarifying the meaning of the song will not be taken into consideration.
Judging Scale (May Vary By Judge):
9/10 - Great entry. Track displays the theme given head on.
8 - Good entry. Displays theme well but not as well as others.
7 - Okay entry. Fits decently but is missing something overall.
6 - Somewhat tackles the theme but falls flat.
5 - Track mentions theme but is otherwise off-base.
3/4 - Song does not hit the theme given.
1/2 - Song has to do with a completely different subject than the theme.
The example for this round is "Overprotected" by Britney Spears off her third studio album 'Britney'. Releasing this song during her own coming of age era, the track lyrically depicts Britney breaking free from the reigns of others to declare her life as her own.
Quote:
I don't need nobody telling me just what I wanna
What I want what what I'm gonna
Do about my destiny
I Say No, No
Nobody's telling me just what what what I wanna do, do
I'm so fed up with people telling me to be
Someone else but me
The deadline for this round is June 8th at 6:00 PM US PST Timezone.
This round will be another single elimination. However, R5 is guaranteed to be a double elimination because of that. After all, I must keep the game moving.
I love the theme for this round. And can I say that bridge from Overprotected is million miles better compared to the entirety of Britney Jean? I just miss the old Britney Spears.....
