Love top 2! Bottoms Up is my jam and that new single from Disclosure isn't bad! not my favorite song song from them, but I like it better than Bang That.

After a few listens I kinda like Bang That.

Not everyone missing the number one when it was Pretty Girls. Selective Vision I guess... or they weren't so pretty afterall : I just thought you all were joking since you didn't like the number one so were adopting a new one. I like Yelawolf a lot, which is funny because I'm not a huge Em fan.

Interesting that YTT seems so different back in 2009. I was curious because I was skimming through some older threads and just saw a lot of 4/10s and those types of comments. I have no problem with those types, I just think it's more fun to leave some type of pun or cheer on a specific song or lightly shade an artist or something. I like YTT now though, It's my favorite section on here (even though I may take a break every so often like the last couple weeks - must be something related to Survivor )

I listened to Daisy! I like it a lot! To be honest, I'm more here for Jon Bellion than Zedd for Beautiful Now. I loved Jon's mixtape last year and had to check this new song out.

I didn't include Zunebrate in my title because it was more to celebrate ( ) Pretty Girls leaving number one, than celebrating Luke at the top spot. Plus, I don't know, I haven't seen the guy around for awhile I miss his posts. Hopefully he comes back... at least to say goodbye if he left.

Kick The Dust Up is awesome. I love all Luke's first singles. That's My Kind of Night especially still gets some major plays.

I like Gold too because of how weird it is. It's something different.

Beautiful Now is great! I love Jon! Worked well with Zedd too surprisingly.

You might like the original Bottoms up more than the T.I. remix. They gave the remix more of a hip-hop beat. It;s nice though.

Meat Loaf is pretty awesome though. I had had his album for awhile and just started getting into him. His music is so ridiculous, it's great.

Chart Notes: Ok, and we're back! I took a break for a little bit I guess and got distracted with finals and stuff, not to mention the fact that I still want to do a huge update on the personal chart, but that's in the future! (hopefully )

Anyway, the new update brings... not much! Luke is still number 1, Taylor is still number 2, frozen out of the top spot. To put together this update I pretty much averaged every song and its plays and took into account what my most played songs for the month were, had I not done that... the results would still be pretty much the same except Luke Bryan would be at a 4th week at number one. Oh well, guess he'll just have to hold on another two weeks to break the 3 week curse here. We'll see if he can do that. No song has really grabbed me the same way so... we'll see, although Beautiful Now is pretty consistent in its plays and increases.

Besides Taylor, Ciara, MNDR, and Rihanna there is a heavy skew towards males artists. I haven't really been listening to too much pop recently and have been slacking with regards to new releases so for the time being, it looks like things will be relatively constant. Also helping that consistency is the fact that I have been too lazy to replace the things on my ipod and I only have about 15 albums on there at the moment so my top albums up there racked in some plays.

Notably, Millencolin (a Swedish pop-punk band) marks the return of rock and the first rock album to top the chart in some time.

I've temporarily suspended the recurrent chart as I catch up here in YTT, in addition to the fact that that chart would be too difficult to put together right now, with all the plays from the weeks I missed going into this one update. If I did have a recurrent chart, my Survivor Entry Open Water by Thrice would top it. Also, because of that hiatus, I guess I"ll start doing Thursday updates now. Not the worst day to do it I guess.

As far as personal stuff goes, it's summer, I have terrible allergies and am pretty miserable. It's cool though, I just have to wait out another month or so. I'm also getting back to writing which was a pre-ATRL project of mine so I'll see how that goes. At the very least, songs from the playlist I make will probably chart here, since I usually make a music playlist to put me in the mood of whatever I'm working on.
