I knew very little about his music until earlier this year when Kim Gordon talked about liking 'Radio' and his influence on Sonic Youth's "Kool Thing" and its video (after she interviewed him and found out he was a pig) - specifically "Goin' Back to Cali".
So I watched that video (which is actually pretty cool) and most of his stuff is kinda bubblegum, but a lot of fun. The Queen of Post-Punk Dissonant Noise-Rock winning him new listeners.
Still hate his guts on the Grammys though.
