It's interesting that JGMAR feels such a non-event for me. It's like it was not even a P!nk song, it just came and went and Try overshadowed it at the Grammys. It's cute and all, but sometimes I even forgot she had that song.

i kinda understand what you mean. it is a cute song (even tho a little hysterical), but it's faaaaar, faaaar, faaaaaar from being one of pink's best songs. that "came and went" mentality pretty much describes the entirety of TTAL for me. era and album. even the album launch concert in munich: i have a better and fonder memory of what happened on my way back home after the concert.

although: that JLAP high note was unforgettable <3 too bad the jlap performance on the TTAL dvd is the worst one ever.

That gig was flawless and the most important event in my life. It sounds lame but I think my life would be on a different route if it wasn't for that particular day. It was the end of my old life with depression, self-hating and family problems, and it made me start to see the world differently and from a whole new perspective. That night I cried to Family Portrait, the song that introduced me to P!nk, where it all began, and I felt like that in that moment - when she sang that so beautifully - I could let go everything from the past and finally move on. So yeah, it was pretty important to me.

they are producers. they're being shopped around by the label to the artists. it's like saying, pink follows kelly's footsteps by working with max, dioguardi and greg since kelly worked with them first (although, i gotta say it kinda shows and i also got that impression. should have been the other way around. let's hope she won't work with kelly's producers next time).

yes, subg. not the other songs. he just shaped that pop/rock stuff with kelly first and then went on to do the same for pink.

i'm just saying it's normal that labels shop producers around. but to me the pop/rock quality really shows that it's not really pink and i felt a much stronger connection with dallas' and tim's productions and felt that those were more "pink" rather than max's.
