When a family member of yours is sick, you are going through an issue, or someone asks you to pray for them. Do you do it? This is not subjected to Christianity but any religion that requires Prayer. Or even I'd it's just a one time thing.
I'm an atheist but people are like "keep me/him/her in your prayer", and i'm like, "okay"....
And as you can tell, i also pray for #R8 so i guess i do.
I used to talk to 'god' when I was younger and having a troubled time but I wouldn't get down on my knees or anything, I'd just like talk to someone in my head about my struggles and call them god idk. I haven't done that in years tho.
Nope and I abhor the idea. Some of these people really think God answered their prayers for a new PS3 as thousands are starving across the world and praying too.
Several times a day, and every night before I go to bed, along with reading my Bible. However, more of my friends don't than do, and I respect their right to believe as they want. And I spend more time praying for others than myself, so I don't ask God for a PS3.
Nope. Whatever happens, happens. Amazing things happen to terrible people all the time, and horrible things happen to great people, even though they prayed. It's kind of annoying when they turn around from that and say "God is testing me" or "I'm sure God has his reasons." But, I mean, provided they're not forcing it on anyone else, who cares? They're not harming anyone.
I used to pray when I was like 5-9 years old though, but I guess I was agnostic because I always used to start my prayers with "Dear God, if you're real..." and then when I was like 10, this kid in my class told me he and his family didn't believe in God. He gave me all his reasons, and I realised that I didn't believe either.

You really think thats what people pray for? People pray for healing and money so that they can pay their debts off. I have seen a lot in my life to have knowledge that prayer does work.
i never prayed. my parents never took me to church. we'd always say we'd go but we'd all wake up at 11 and be like "nah" we only go to church during easter. so yeah i pray like once a year
