My salary is around four times higher than the rent. It's an unwritten rule here, how much your flat should cost - the flat should be max. 1/4-1/3 of the salary.
what's your job? 13k per month that's 156k per year you can buy a mansion with those money why pay rent?
Mortgage but I get the idea $12,240.97 which includes PMI which according to my records will be finished in 2017. So the payment will drop by ~$1000.
Edit: It was much higher but I refinanced a few years ago at a much lower rate and put more money down. I was at like 4% now I'm at 1.9%. My property taxes are not included.

Nursing, originally. Then I continued with the studies and now I'm leading a nursing home. The pay is great, however if you want an own house and a good one (not a huge mansion or anything), you need here at least 1-1.5 millions...plus I still don't know where I want to live and don't wanna settle down with a house.

$5700 a month for 2 bed/2 bath/1100 sq. ft. (I have a roommate, so my share is half).
**** San Francisco
To be fair, it's in Mission Bay (great views, near AT&T Park and financial district) and the building is amazing but this is pretty typical pricing in all of SF.
Why not just invest that money into your own house? 5k a month should be for mortgage... Not rent.
