Kelly's focus was always the US, WW was just a consequence because, you know, she's really great. Gaga started with dance/pop when the genre was at it's peak and her higher tour gross is probably because her appealing with the gays gave her a HUGE fan base. Gaga has more Grammys because she had more control over her career, when Kelly, as a former Idol contest, had to fight for what she wanted to do. I've seen a lot of new artists like Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale and Meghan Trainor saying that they were inspired by Kelly, but I'm yet to see a significant act say the same about Lady Gaga, even when she was that big and her being in the game for almost 8 years.

OK, you can choose to blindly believe a random person who works a 9-to-5 just like everyone else in the world, but they're clearly wrong and I have already explained why.
