Knowles, Wayne Wilkins and Jim Jonsin did some additional writing and produced the song alongside Love at the same studio. Knowles and Love worked on the vocal arrangements.

Did you listen to the entire interview? He said she made some changes to it before the album dropped.
And that means she isn't? I'm starting to think you guys are clueless about the process of writing a song for someone.. Especially Beyonce.
They are used with their faves recording and releasing whatever their team tells them, like we have so many videos of her in the studio. Isn't that enough?
I remember DC's old vocal coach saying the reason she sang both lead and background vocals on their first two albums was because she was able to get vocals done in one take and when she was perfect with stacking her vocals whereas when they used all the girls they would have to rerecord because someone was off harmony. Having her do everything saved studio money.
She started doing vocal production when the label told her that if she wants the other girls to sing lead she has to produce the other girl's vocals.
I know right? She could have recorded it three times over with time to spare. It's also clearly been done in small segments, you can often hear her singing over herself and throughout the entire song you can here there are two or more Beyonces singing at the same time I don't get this thread.

I'm pretty sure it would take your fave at least 2 hours as much as she goes off key.
