The only reason I'd love for them to really break up is to see the meltdowns on Twitter and to be rid of one hideous fanbase on social media. Lets make that break permanent boys.

Good. I'm 100% okay with a break tbh, IF and only if I can get this from the boys.
1) Harry doesn't release any type of solo music and instead becomes some kind of new age blogger/just a famous person.
2) Liam becomes a solo artiest and releases his own version of Justified.
3) Louis finally comes out and becomes a radio DJ on Radio One.
4) Niall becomes a television host.

Honestly, their inevitable reunion (and the hype surrounding it) will only make them bigger than if they never broke up in the first place.

Landscape changing music that's decently successful vs. mediocre, typical, generic music that's insanely successful.
I'll take the former over the latter.

Anyway, back on topic:
Hopefully if they take a break, they'll actually be give the creative licence to prove themselves capable of actually producing a decent album, not just a quick cash grab that panders to their primary rapid fanbase.
