I havent been forced to update

Not yet you won't. You'll get a "Get Windows 10" icon and it won't be removed till Windows 10 comes out on July 29th

I don't have it since I turned off ALL Windows updates when I got my PC.

Isn't that dangerous since you need to update your computer 24/7?

I reserved my upgrade what's the big deal

Being forced is scary and annoying. I don't want to update. The update looks tacky

is that what that is? I've seen the icon at the bottom of my screen but I've never clicked it. Thought it's always been there Let me reserve my upgrade so it can go away

It wont go away when you reserve your update. It'll stay there

I have Windows 8 and they asked me if I later on wanted to Windows 10 for free. A pretty nice offer if you ask me.

Y'all are so dramatic. No one is being forced to upgrade. In fact the upgrade is only free for a limited time.

Not to mention Windows 10 is actually bringing some innovative new features to personal computing. Literally leaving Mac behind in the dust. Windows 10 >>>> Windows 8. Far from tacky. Do ya research sis Who cares if the icon is permanent?
