Her cult leader parents brainwashed her into believing that what Josh did was a "mistake" that could be forgiven and that is so sick. Though I hate mostly all the family members, I feel bad that she can't say her brother raped her because he did and I'm damn sure she believes it.

The entire family sounds a bit too close we also don't know the full extent of what he did though, so I don't see a problem with her defending him

She's not saying nothing happened. She's defending him against ignorant people who call him a pedophile or whatever else today for something that happened over a decade ago.

Where did I say pedophile? There is NOTHING wrong with a curious teenage boy but the good thing to do is ask for CONSENT. What Josh did was touch his sisters without asking for their consent. I cannot believe you are defending such a disgusting act even if it happened years ago.

I was replying to someone else with the pedophile comment. And I wouldn't be defending this family if they all hadn't clearly moved on and grown closer together from the fallout of this horrific situation. I'm not defending the fact that he actually molested his sisters so please don't say that. All I'm saying is that the Duggars are a nice, Christian family who have major prominence in the media with a popular TV series, and it's sick that the liberal media is trying to tear them down and make awful accusations about Josh's character today (as if he's the same person today that he was 12 years ago) or about Jim Bob & Michelle's parenting, and trying to get their show off the air, probably because they're Christians.

That sounds like an extreme accusation to make, but where were the petitions to cancel Girls - a vulgar, ****ographic series - when Lena Dunham made that confession in her book? The bias and Christophobia is real.

I think since she's the victim ppl should respect her opinion on her abuse.
