It's about time tbh. Kamla Persad-Bissessar did him dirty - she used him and his money to reinvent herself and position herself as the prime candidate for PM then discarded him when he seemed of no further use. Also, she's covered a good portion of misbehavior from her own cabinet and even shielded some members of her party from US extradition for other crimes.

And the GP in Trinidad are already against her for her betrayal of Jack - he did a lot for the members of his community and he always tried to do right by the citizens no matter which cabinet he presided over. It's just karma for her at this point.
