I love The Simpsons tbh, I'm kind of binge watching it rn.

I wouldn't care it should've been cancelled years ago

I barely watch it now but I would still be sad

Basically. I know almost every episode, except for a chunk of new ones.

I would feel like an era of pop culture had ended, but it would be for the best because The Simpsons has become unwatchable trash for years now. And I'm someone who lasted all the way beyond Season 20 before giving up.

The modern day era of The Simpsons doesn't really have a footing in pop culture. Are people really talking about the new episode of The Simpsons? I'm not saying the show isn't being viewed, which ultimately matters most, just that the new episodes don't really matter.The last moment I can think of was the crossover with Family Guy. I wouldn't notice if the show got cancelled, with the exception of the last episode probably being a ratings legend.

At this point, The Simpsons has so many episodes that it could become a syndicated Queen. I do watch the reruns as nostalgia is powerful. It's like they say 'you're worth more when you're dead' and that's how I feel about this show.

I would cry my eyeballs out if they cancel it. Hell I can't imagine seeing the last episode of a show after seeing it since I was a kid. I basically grew up watching the simpsons. My father and I used to watch the episodes together before he died whenever we had the chance. I still remember what episodes were his favorite ones.

The new ones aren't that great but still, there are plenty that are amazing. That christmas special were everyone was grown up was very emotional!

Are you kidding? It's iconic. It can not be allowed to die. If it starts to falter and cancellation is near, the government should step in and support it with public funds. They bailed out the automakers after all, and the Simpsons is still more worthy of tax dollars than, say, NPR.
