YOUR WEAKEND TOP 10 CHART PREVIEW: Jonas Brothers will easily lead the album chart next week, but the real head-turner looks to a less than 50% second-week fall-off for Black Eyed Peas, which is far less than the typical 60-70% decay for an act of this size. It may be that Target's extremely effective TV campaign for the exclusive “deluxe version” of E.N.D., in which the band appears (see I.B. Bad’s lead story for more on that subject), is having some residual effect in week two. Here's how it's all shaping up heading into the weekend:
* Jonas Brothers (Hollywood) 260-275k
Black Eyed Peas (Interscope) 160-170k
Dave Matthews Band (RCA/RMG) 75-80k
Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 70-75k
* Incubus (Epic) 65-70k
Lady Gaga (Interscope) 50-55k
Hannah Montana: The Movie (Walt Disney) 40-45k
Chickenfoot (Redline) 40-45k
Taylor Swift (Big Machine) 35-40k
Green Day (Reprise) 35-40k
* Denotes debut
You may now return to coverage of the U.S. Open on ESPN. (6/19p)
Green Day better not fall out of the top ten.
