I read the first issue, was great. Artwork is gorgeous. Definitely going to keep picking it up.

I'm glad they're actually creating and pushing new characters to fulfill their minority quota, instead of angering fans by flipping their favorite straight, white heroes on their head.

It actually looks pretty good, I hope it becomes successful. But lbr though, this is going to fail miserably. Str8, traditional comic book fans will not support this, and I doubt there will be enough LGBT readers to keep this going for very long.

Yeah, I hope it sells well too, but it's much harder to get people to continually invest money into a character they don't have history or connection with. Hopefully I'm wrong. But in a world where we still have massive outrage at the Human Torch being black or the Green Lantern being gay, I don't have high hopes that these same people will be very supportive of an entire series based around those tropes. Either way, props to DC for doing it anyway.

DC's shallow attempts to be LGBTQIA friendly have been lost on me ever since I found out they wouldn't let Batwoman and her girlfriend get married.
