Man harassed by cops while carrying gun at airport
Quote:
A metro Atlanta man says he was harassed for exercising his Second Amendment rights while at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport last week.Cooley says he was approached by several Atlanta Police officers asking about his firearm, which he said he was carrying for safety, while at the airport.
Upon leaving the terminal and going to the parking lot, three officers followed him. None of the three would say why they were following him when he asked them, though they took photos of him and his vehicle as he got in and drove off.
It's a good thing he's white or he'd be dead. What an asshole though. There needs to be more legal regulation of this ****. If we can't get rid of guns we need to prevent white people from doing **** like this.
Bc while he does have the right to carry the gun, the police also have to protect every other person in that airport which would obviously mean keeping an eye on the guy with a big ass gun strapped to his chest.
The police did the right thing but why did they take pictures
Actually they didn't do the right thing especially following him and taking pictures. He was not breaking any laws. I will give them the initial approach and just asking him what's up but beyond that there was no reason to stay on him.
You don't need to bring a gun to the airport to do nothing but mill around. Seriously, he probably bought the gun specifically to go complain on Breitbart or TheBlaze about harassment by the government, lol. ****ing inbred.
