Transgenderism is mainstream. Transethnicity is not. One of the transethnic Tumblr weirdos could just as easily come here and say you are devaluing their true transethnic experience. At the end of the day, you can't truly change your race. You can make cosmetic changes to yourself to mask your ethnicity, but your cultural roots and genetics remain the same. It's arguably the same for transgender individuals. At the end of the day, none of the changes are really anything more than cosmetic. (Aside from the mental concordance, which would apply to a transethnic person as well.) Yes, you can have breast implants/removals, and have your genitalia reformed, and everything else, but it does not change the chromosomes or reproductive capability. So,
speaking purely from a biological perspective, truly changing your sex is as impossible as changing your race.
Shooting the argument down as ridiculous just because transgenderism is PC and transethnicity is not doesn't make your argument valid by default.
