You should stop stanning when it gets in your skin and gets so blind that you praise anything that you fave does even when it's wrong or stupid, which describes some atrlers perfectly. The age is just a number.

It depends on the level of your stanning. I mean I have friends who travel to multiple cities to see Gaga. That level of stanning should stop in the your mid 20s. But if you're someone like most of population, who just follows them on social media, buys their music, and will be one of the first people to buy concert tickets, then never.
Living vicariously through other people is completely sad and disturbing no matter how old you are. I mean, have whatever hobby you want, but stanning, by literal definition, is not healthy.

I think I'll always love Katy but I can't see myself being on ATRL and twitter for more than another year. So you can always be a fan but I don't really see myself at least stanning into my twenties. To each his own tho
Whenever the person you idolize doesn't bring you anything and you no longer feel anything when listening to him/her. Don't hang around just so as to spoil the fun of the people who don't share your opinion. Check your ego, keep the idealistic child within and go away with your dignity intact. Because around that age we have way more responsabilities like work and even more things in life, naturally you just stop caring that much for pop girls but you can still follow their careers, not that close, tho.
