JLo says her skills as a live performer have reached a peak.
Today -- Monday, June 1 -- is that day that Jennifer Lopez told the Las Vegas Sun that she’ll begin work on the set list and music for her upcoming Las Vegas residency, which launches January 20 at Planet Hollywood. But with her busy schedule, which includes American Idol, a new TV series and motherhood, why is now the right time to take on such a big project? J-Lo says it's because she thinks her skills as a live performer have reached a peak.
"Everything happens for a reason, at the right time," she tells ABC Radio. "And I just feel like as an entertainer/performer, I’m really ready to take on something like this. It came at the perfect time."
"I did my first world tour a couple of years ago and since then I feel like I’ve really grown as a performer, a live entertainer," she adds. "It’s probably one of my favorite things to do."
J-Lo says her goal for her Vegas show is to make it a "must-see" that stands out from all the other entertainment in Sin City.
"I just wanna make the best show that I can, so that when people come, they’re like, 'You have to go see the J. Lo show!'” she tells ABC Radio. "So I’m excited about creating that." (AUDIO IS ABC 1-ON-1)
When her residency kicks off, Jennifer will be juggling it with her duties on the 15th and final season of American Idol. However, she says she won't mind commuting back and forth between Las Vegas and L.A. As she told the Las Vegas Sun, "I don’t think about what that involves. I’ll just do it, and we’ll get both done perfectly.”

I hope that she'll keep the show classy she's always sexy but I didn't like her show in Morocco it was too much about sex and too much focus on her ass she doesn't need that to make a great show.
She just dances and her background singers do most of the singing
She's currently a better performer than Mariah though. Mariah's performances center on her voice, which is slowly BUT surely fading in quality as time passes by.
Jennifer is forty years old and still capable of dancing better than most if not all of the younger set and carrying a note better than half of them too.

No lies spotted and she's way too good for Vegas. J.Lo has stage presence, energy, can dance any bish off stage and has started singing live again and sounds reasonably good. Let the Britney and Mariah stans seethe !!
