Gender is a much more complex concept than race. Being born with a certain skin colour really is as simple as the genetics involved and what is inherited from the parents. Of course there are other things like being albino but they're not exactly the same as that's a genetic mutation, not a genetic variation.
You can't be, for example a "white" person born in a "black" person's body, because there's no differing hormones, chemicals or brain structure between different races like there is between the genders. It's really not comparable.
