S. Carter Enterprises "indirectly" owns Project Panther Bidco which owns the majority share of Aspire which owns Tidal. It's just weird to me. Why didn't S. Carter Enterprises just purchase Tidal directly if that's the case? Something ain't right in the water and I bet when it boils all the way down to it Shawn Carter only owns a minority percent of all of these businesses or he used loaned money to buy into them which would mean he's not owner.
And yet Girl On Fire is a Grammy award winning album that at least went gold while the other is struggling in the past (that go for Janet in 08) and the persent (Mariah and Madonna) to do that.
None of this has ANYTHING to do with the quality of the music. I stand by what I said, Girl on Fire was a ****** album, now deal.

Lol, okay. I mean I could be wrong, but my gut is telling me that he doesn't "own" Tidal. It's not because I hate Jay Z (I don't), but that's his common practice. He has the reputation for this.
Critics don't mean ****. Who the **** has the time and the energy to consult what critics say or how much an album has sold when considering an albums quality? Like brah...
And in any case, don't be a petty stan @King of R&B. We're all entitled to our opinions.
